Our special guest this month is the Executive Director of Family Hope House, Leslie Keenan. She will be presenting "The Core Issues Foster and Adoptive Families Experience." 


Families formed by foster care, adoption or kinship/guardianship all experience seven core issues. By addressing these issues your family can better understand:


·       how the adoption/foster care experience has impacted your family’s life and relationships


·       how to improve communication between family members about their own issues and needs


·       how to enhance empathy and understanding for each other 


·       how you can address these issues with confidence as they  come up at various stages of development
.       how you can begin to heal individually and as a family


Attendees must be present during the meeting to receive a training certificate for 1.5 hours.
