Our special guest this month is Jimmy Clare with Family Hope House. He will be presenting "Reasons for Placement-What Happened to Me?" 




Our kids need help with knowing what happened to them and why they have been removed from their natural homes. These questions can be tough and challenging for us to answer sometimes. Whether it is a foster, guardianship, or adoptive situation, our kids have lots of questions. Some of these questions might be: Why was I given away? Why couldn’t my birth parents figure out a way to keep me? Why did my parents mistreat me, and why did I end up in foster care? Did my parents abuse drugs, and is that why I was taken away? Why did they keep my sibling and not me? During this evening, we will look at the reasons for placement, how to help our kiddos walk through the grief and loss, and give strategies for the family to answer these questions. Attendees must be present during meeting to receive training certificate for 1.5 hours.
